Our mission

This project aims to explore and highlight the experiences of Texas Tech University students who are forced to change their career paths due to financial challenges.

College is not only expensive but also incredibly challenging, and there must be more solutions to help students afford their education. This project is not intended to criticize or diminish those who receive financial support from their families. Instead, it seeks to provide support, raise awareness, and remind others facing financial hardships that they are not alone.

By conducting this research, I hope to uncover new ways to enhance the college experience for students facing similar struggles. As someone who personally faces difficulties with financial aid and tuition payments, I often wish Texas Tech offered more support for students like me.

 

Financial struggles are a global issue, and the rising cost of higher education is just one of the many challenges people encounter.
